Adult Ministries hosts an array of classes and experiences in education, growth and development in Bible study, life application, spiritual formation and prayer, social justice, theology, book discussions, and other topics of interest. These opportunities may take the form of classes, prayer and meditation, experiential formats, retreats; they may be offered during the Sunday morning education hour, evening and daytime hours during the week, or on weekends. Some classes or groups may prefer or require advanced registration and or purchase of a book. For information about the offerings below, call the leader/facilitator listed; also check the church newsletter and Sunday morning announcements. It is St. Andrew’s goal to make available Child Care for all Adult Ministries opportunities.
Adult Ministries is a team of the Session of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church and meets the first Thursday of the month at 4 PM, in the Naylor Room. Meetings always open to anyone interested in adult ministries.
During Sundays with only one service, Adult classes will be held following that single service. When there are two services, classes are held between the two services. Prior sign up not required.

Room B: Today’s Sermon Text Bible Study Carl Hultquist leads a weekly class that examines that week’s scripture. It is especially for those who want to learn more about Bible and the passages that are read each week in worship.

May 17- Aug 9 Great figures of the New Testament, DVD/discussion series facilitated by Don Kindell.
Beginning Aug 16 Pastor Garrett will lead a Tuesday evening class featuring the Book of James.

Dorcas Circle (for women)
2nd Friday of the month, 1:00 PM, September to June.
Study for 2015-16: A reflective devotional study and discussion of: scripture, readings from a variety of noted religious authors and poets; and contemporary issues--all with the underlying question about how we see God working in our lives. Brown Bag Book Study
1st & 3rd Thursdays, Noon, Edna Armstrong’s home, 1187 Stafford Way, YC

White Bag Book Club
Second Thursday of each month at Noon. Conference Room. Each month a facilitator will share key points of a different book followed by discussion time. Audience not expected to have read the book. Bring your own lunch. Contact Don Kindell (674-9085) if you have questions.
